I heard about this book through a friend of the author. I am so pleased to be one of the first to speak up. Frankly, as a favor, I agreed to read the first chapter, but I couldn't sleep until I had finished the whole book. I was hoping for the big "pay-off" at the end of the story, and I was not disappointed. This is absolutely extraordinary... one of the best books I have read in years! The story is fresh and original. Beyond that, the book is laced with interesting observations, history lessons and brilliant insights into the beauty, frailty, humor and (sometimes) ugliness of human nature. Midway through the book I was raving about it to my son, and he asked me what it was about. The best I could do was... "Kind of a cross between Underworld, The X Files and Forest Gump." I would put this book squarely within a league with Karen Miller, Stephen King, Anne Rice and Arthur C Clarke (Coincidentally... four of my favorites.) Kudos to the author. I can't wait for the next installment. I suspect I will be waiting in line by then.

Fascinating tale that integrates history, religion, horror, in a well written and entertaining novel. Thought-provoking, can't put-away book, not for the faint of heart. Can't wait for the next volume!
This new novel by J. Oliver Glasgow presents an original and thoroughly intriguing plot. Well-written, with current references and well-known locations, it reminded this reader of Stephen King's work. Can't wait to see what challenges Andrea faces in the next edition.
